Sir:
Maayong Iligan!
The ultimate goal of education is to readily apply learning in the society where people can benefit from it. We believe that the best laboratory for science teachings is our environment, and that we should keep it clean, hazard-free and prevent environmental disaster in the future.
With this and in respond to DepEd Memorandum No. 65, s. 2010 attached, the select students of Iligan City National High School of whom the undersigned is their Science Teacher would like to request permission to conduct a coastal clean-up at the Sampayan Beach Area of Barangay Tomas Cabili, Iligan City during Earth Day Celebration with the theme “Hamon ng Panahon: Climate Change, Sampung (10) Milyung Solusyon (Kilos na! Ngayon na!)” on April 22, 2010 from 8:00 AM- 12:00 NN.
We believe that this activity is the best avenue for students to really take part of their social responsibility and to put into practice the things that they have learned in the classroom.
We are looking forward on your approval on this request. Rest assured that parent’s waiver and student’s safety are one of the top priorities of the undersigned.
Thank you very much.
Very respectfully yours,
ANNALLEE Q. ARON
