Photo taken during the district science fair

This was the photo I took while waiting for the students and teachers to put up their display. The display-board shown in the left won the best display. It was difficult to decide but judges including me were able to select one- the basis was more on how beautiful is the display not in terms of visual but in terms of quality of the paper. In the left are students preparing for their defense. I am so pleased with them having the courage to join such a contest like this which would involve higher order thinking skills. I really encourage them to keep on joining science fair contest for them to garner many awards and learn from their experience.

I am also impressed with the teachers who continually supports their students to come up with a project yearly. Imagine how many students they will be able to influence on having a positive attitude regarding doing research projects thereby promoting research culture.
