Advantages and Disadvantages of Completely Randomized Design (CRD)

Advantages of Completely Randomized Design are as follows:
  • CRD is flexible because it can be done even in a limited number of experimental subjects however equal number of subjects for each treatment is encourage.
  • Statistical analysis is simple and easy
  • Statistical analysis is manageable even though some of the experimental subjects or treatments are lacking
Disadvantages: Difficult to establish homogeneity of characteristics among subjects either experimental or control. If researcher fails to establish homogeneity on the characteristics among subject it will lead to greater experimental error.
