Dye from the extract of star apple leaves

ABSTRACT

Global crisis affects all the prize of the products which are sold. In the market,

one of this is the dye. Star apple (Chrysophyllum cainito ) leaves can be utilized and enhance

its usefulness for future use. This is the main purpose of the researchers to find the alternative

dye out of its and to extract dye from star apples leaves. Some of its sub-problems were to

find out do the, namely Gina earth and silk will retain its color after some obstacles which is

the discoloration test that will applied on it.

The researchers gathered all needed materials and insured that all were cleaned

and sterilized. Star apple leaves were pounded to produce an extract which is the source

of dye. The researchers applied mordant to the fabrics to enhance the quality of the dye.

They were boiled using the extract of Star apple leaves.
