Sweet Potato or Camote tops

I really want to congratulate my students Vincent Malales, Kenneth Gomez, Artem Jay Dilao, and Richard Dims for coming out a Filipino version of make your own pH indicator. Instead of using Red Cabbage (rare in the Philippines) they use the sweet potato (Ipomoea Batatas) camote tops extract (abundant in the Philippines) to determine the pH of an unknown substance. I will be sharing their work soon with their permission.
