This study aimed to determine the capability of Water Hyacinth’s stalk being the main producer of fiber used in Making Art Paper for invitational cards.

Wet tensile strength, dry tensile strength, opacity and resistance to tear of Water Hyacinth was tested and three trials were made, same with the controlled art paper. Data gathered form the test and the T-test showed that the water hyacinth art paper has no significant difference in terms of its wet tensile, strength, opacity and resistance to tear buy has a significant difference with its level of oxygen in the removal of water hyacinth.
